Baader Cafe in Munich

Simply good and cool. Unfortunately there aren't as many restaurants as this one anymore ...

Food great, really, the service is ... to say the least ... modest. The young gentleman who served us didn't seem to really enjoy his job, the same goes for the lady at the counter. Isn't it necessary here, and that in times of Corona? Too bad.

The food here is delicious and the prices are really moderate. The waiting times for the service, the drinks and the food can still be improved. We waited a little too long for my personal taste. However, the behavior of the service staff was always impeccable, polite and attentive.

Unfortunately a total disappointment! There really is nothing wrong with the food, but the service was really terrible! Our waitress clearly had no desire to serve any guest in a friendly manner. Every time we had to draw attention to ourselves conspicuously in order to place an order for which we then had to wait an eternity. (the local wasn't even fully used) I would advise such a waitress to change jobs. But what struck me most was that I didn't even get a "thank you" when I gave a 10% tip! And what's more, in 2020 and during Corona you should really be able to pay with an EC card anywhere! So why not in the Baader Cafe ?!

Can't fault the food here, the waffles and pancakes were delicious. So now we come to the negative points in this café: the service is not the best, some tables are very small outside and there is very little space to eat. You can NOT pay by card here, which I cannot understand at all at the present time. We are in the middle of a PANDEMIC. The worst thing in this cafe is that the boss behind the counter is totally rude and disrespectful to many guests. Such a person shouldn't work in the restaurant business !! In addition, the waiter asked me in the end why I didn't tip, totally outrageous. All in all, the café didn't convince me.

Very tasty English breakfast! Friendly service, spacious outdoor area! Waiting time was normal. The food was delicious and well priced!

Respectful & cordial staff (already on the phone) Brutally delicious breakfast with World class egg crepe dishes as well as buttermilk American cake Homemade Mango Lassi Prices more than fair !! Size of the portions => appropriate for the price and about MORE !! A little different music to the background Artist premises All in all, highly recommended if you want to enjoy a different breakfast and don't want to invest in any shop where you will be served cheese and sausages on plates. (put it carefully). We can all do that much better at home ?

LOVEEEE THIS PLACE SOOO MUCH! the Sunday brunch is to kill for, the waffles omg, don't even get me started.

We had to wait a long time for the cards, but even longer for the drinks. Although the other tables ordered after us, they were the first to receive your coffee. The English breakfast was just as cold as the cocoa when it arrived at our table. The rolls for breakfast were probably from yesterday, very tough. After we were completely ignored in order to finally pay and then pointed out that the rolls were not really fresh, the criticism was received with reluctance and very unfriendly. The change was pounded on the table and there was no "goodbye" or anything.

Great food at fair prices! Chilled and relaxed atmosphere as always ...

Food is fine, but the service is bad and slow. It took them very long to realize that some new clients arrived at the terrace and getting the bill was impossible, we had to go inside to pay. Overall not a good experience.

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday. Overall selection is good and you can order individual items in addition to the breakfast meals. The service was friendly and the food tasty, the OJ quiet pricey but freshly squeezed. Would've been 5 stars if you could pay with a card. Cash only is just ridiculous imo and nowadays you really can't blame the fees anynore

Honestly, best breakfast in Munich center! We have been there several times and everything it's perfect! Loved the service, the place (cool, it feels so 80'), the food ... Breakfast are awesome full of flavour and taste and well THEY HAVE HP ? A MUST GO!

Absolutely poor service and no friendliness in this shop. Were there in the afternoon for coffee and cake and would not only be forgotten, but even insulted. I absolutely understand that something can go under, but that is not possible. Never again!

Was with a friend at this cafe for breakfast. The food was very good and nice to look at. Make sure to reserve at the weekend as it is very full. Prices were ok.

Ate some delicious French Toast with maple syrup and bacon. The coffee was okay, maybe a touch burnt. There is friendly service with a smile, and the prices on the menu are reasonable. Overall, a good place to sit outside when the weather is fine and do a spot of people-watching.

Fun spot with outdoor seating and their Aperol Spritz is quite tasty.

Simply unpretentious café and bar. I frequent there for one of the biggest caffè latte and occasional piece of cake. Great for meeting with friends and beers.

The service was really great. The food tasted really good. I had the English breakfast and it was exactly what it should be. The breakfast burrito was also really tasty. The toilets are basic. There is no free wifi. I think they should maybe invest in some new furniture. We were 3 people and had 4 drinks and 3 breakfast meals in total for around just 40 euro, a good deal.

Baader Cafe reminds me of my university years in Vienna, as almost every second café has looked like this. No bells and whistles, a bit loud and lumpy but not boring, snacks to nibble, moderate prices and nice service.

We were there on a Saturday morning and we noticed that we were overwhelmed by the waitresses, apparently not just two. Accordingly, we have also had to wait for the order and until our food arrived, too much time has passed. Payment was just like that, let us wait at least 20min ... I think it's a pity, because their pancakes and other food are really delicious but service is still going strong!

Too loud, noisy, you cannot carry a conversation there.

It's not rare to see people sitting outside this hidden place. Allow yourself to have a coffee here - you will see the friendly staff and be willing to try a drink or breakfast, depending on the time you go. + Wow: Every month they have DJ's playing from 9pm. Check their facebook page for exact dates. + Wow: There is a Sunday brunch with antipasti. Haven't tried yet.
